Privacy notice

Enquiries collect your name, email and the event or hire details you enter, with optional phone, organisation, date and location. These are stored in the website enquiry inbox so Chris can respond and discuss your request.

Accounts and stall bookings use your identity, contact and business details to manage access and bookings. Food vendors may need to provide a certificate. Ticket bookings use buyer contact details, quantities and event choices to manage admission and payment.

Newsletter signup stores your email and selected interests so Chris Ford Events can provide those updates. It is separate from an enquiry or booking.

Required fields are marked or enforced on the form. You can leave optional fields blank. Without required details, the relevant enquiry, account, booking or subscription cannot be processed.

The website uses Vercel for hosting and performance monitoring, Google Firebase for data and file storage, Kinde for sign-in, and Stripe for payments. Information needed for those functions is handled by those services and may be processed outside New Zealand.

Payment-card details are entered through Stripe. The website stores payment references, amounts and booking status rather than full card numbers.

Authorised website administrators can access enquiries and booking information for their work. Event information and photos published in the public gallery are visible to website visitors.

Sign-in uses cookies and the website uses browser storage for features such as appearance and booking progress. Hosting and performance services process technical request and performance information. Enquiry abuse protection uses a hashed network address and a submission counter.

Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry. Contact Chris before supplying material you do not want published.

You can ask for access to, or correction of, personal information held about you. Email hello@chrisfordevents.nz with your request. Use the same contact to unsubscribe, change newsletter interests, ask about retention or request removal of a photograph.

Chris may need to confirm your identity before releasing personal information. Some booking and payment records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes.
